What I Do

Ruby

Full-stack development with Ruby, including CLI tools and backend systems. Maybe you want an app with Ruby on Rails, or Roda, or Sinatra. I've got you covered. I’ve been working with Ruby for over a decade and still enjoy it every day.

Golang

Maybe you want some fast little web services, or a large, serious application. I’m newer to Go, but I’ve already built quite a few production apps with it. The robustness of a typed, compiled language is incredibly appealing. Maybe it’s right for you too.

JavaScript

JavaScript is fine. Controversial take? Maybe, but I genuinely enjoy it. React? Sure, no problem. Svelte? Absolutely. Any of the many modern JavaScript frameworks, we can do it. Node on the backend? Yep.

DevOps

AWS, or whatever your preferred stack is. Docker? Yep, got you covered. I’m also a big fan of starting with a clean Linux server and building from there. I also take data sovereignty seriously: knowing where your data lives, who controls it, and how it’s accessed. This stuff matters, and I’ll handle it so you don’t have to.

SQL

Yep, I love SQL in all its forms: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite. Queries are one of my favorite things. Big data, clean queries, and deep insight, let’s do it.

Web Development

Modern frontend development with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design. Frameworks, vanilla, whatever your preferred style. If you’ve peeked at the source of this site, you’ll see Tailwind CSS, so yes, I like that too.
